Teen Haven To Hold Charitable Golf Tournament
As part of its 40th anniversary, Teen Haven will be hosting a series of events, with the first to be a golf tournament on Saturday, September 24 at Belmont Hill Golf Course.
Entry fee to the tournament includes green fees, cart, goody bag, one complimentary raffle ticket, and an awards banquet. Prizes will be awarded for on-course competitions such as closest to the pin and longest drive, with a hole-in-one on a particular par being awarded a brand new Peugeot SUV.
Registration for the tournament begins at 7.00am, with an 8.00am shotgun start. Players must set their own teams by filling out the foursome on the registration form.
Tournament format is a 4-person team captain’s choice with a cost of $110 per player. Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Haven,’ with all proceeds to benefit Teen Haven Fundraising Campaign 2016
Teen Haven is a residential treatment programme for homeless pregnant and post-partum teens, and young women, between the ages of 16-24 and their children under the age of 6.
The programs offered include individual, group, and family counseling, parenting and life skills training, educational opportunities, and avocational training.
