Sean Durfy Joins Board Of Ascendant Group
In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange [BSX], Ascendant Group Limited announced that Sean M. Durfy will be appointed to the Board of Directors effective 13 September 2016, which is the date he officially succeeds Walter M. Higgins as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Last month, Ascendant announced that Mr. Durfy — most recently, President and Chief Development Officer of Northland Power Inc. — will succeed Mr. Higgins, who will be retiring as President & Chief Executive Officer.
