Cheryl-Ann Mapp To Resign From Ascendant
In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange [BSX], Ascendant Group Limited announced that General Counsel & Corporate Secretary Cheryl-Ann Mapp has tendered her resignation, effective 7 October, 2016.
Announcing the resignation, retiring President & Chief Executive Officer Walter Higgins, said, “Since taking up her post in September 2012, Mrs. Mapp has supervised the legal and governance affairs of the Company, while providing advice and counsel to the Chief Executive Officer, Management and the Board of Directors.
“We thank her for her diligence and loyalty and wish her all the best in the next chapter of her professional career.”
The company said the “search for a new General Counsel & Corporate Secretary will begin immediately. An interim General Counsel will be appointed until a full-time replacement has been identified.”
When I see Cheryl, I will ask her what has happened there.
