Squash: Jamaica Take Lead On Day #1 Of Action

The first day of the Squash Challenge between Bermuda and Jamaica has seen the visitors take a 6 – 1 lead.

Caribbean ranked number one and world ranked number 77 Chris Binnie defeated Bermuda’s number 2 and world ranked 287th Noah Browne, while Lewis Walters, the second ranked Caribbean player and 91st ranked in the world, defeated Bermuda’s number 1 and ranked 155th in the world Micah Franklin 3 – 1.

Chris Binnie beat Noah Browne 11-9, 11-6, 11-7, while Lewis Walters beat Micah Franklin 13-11, 5-11, 11-5, 11-8.

This evening [Sept 2] will see Lewis Walters take on Noah Browne at 7.00pm, while Chris Binnie will match up against Micah Franklin at 8.00pm.
