Rugby Football Union League Bermuda October 16 2016The Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s League Season resume with matches played at the Warwick Academy School Field.

Two Women’s Division matches, one Women’s 2nd Division match and two Men’s Division matches produced a total of 99 points on the day.

In Women’s Division, the Police defeated the Mariners 3 – 2, Police got 2 tries from Jo Murray and one from Johanita Louw, while Amanda Swan scored two tries for the Mariners.

The match between the Renegades and Teachers ended in a 1 – 1 draw, the Renegades try came from Ashley Godek, while Lauren Rothwell scored the try for the Teachers.

In Women’s 2nd Division, the Renegades defeated The Rest 3 – 1, Rachel Jenkins, Elaine McHugh and Maeve Dillon scored a try each for the Renegades, while Lys Santana scored the lone try for the Rest.

In the Men’s division, the Police defeated the Mariners 34 – 17. The Police got tries from Paddy Graham, Johannes Oosthuizen, Darren Richardson, Nick West and Mandela Caesar, Tommy Edwards kicked three Conversions and a Penalty. The Mariners got 2 tries from Dylan O’Kelly-Lynch and a single try from Kellen Williams, Williams also added a Conversion.

The match of the two team who was undefeated was won by the Renegades as they edged the Teachers 20 – 17. Jaime Baum went over for two tries for the Renegades, while Peter Dunkerley added the other, Brian Archibald kicked one Conversion and one Penalty, while Corey Boyce scored two tries for the Teachers and Thomas Greenslade added the other, while Conor MacGowan kicked one Conversion.
