2016 Edition Of Facts And Figures Released
The Department of Statistics released the 2016 edition of the Bermuda Facts and Figures publication.
Premier Michael Dunkley said, “Facts and Figures is a compact publication with an array of statistical data and information pertaining to Bermuda’s economy. It highlights social, economic and geographic data for selected years and also contains historical notes on the development of Bermuda since the 16th century.
“It shows that after accounting for inflation the Bermuda economy grew between 2014 and 2015 from $4.6138 billion to $4.6426 billion while GDP per capita rose from $92,267 in 2014 to $96,018 in 2015. Meanwhile, consumer spending increased 3.3 per cent between 2014 and 2015.”
