A Bermuda Ball Hockey triple header took place at the PCC Hockey Rink with 28 goals scored, while Field Hockey players were also in action.

Ball Hockey: Halifax Mooseheads 6 Tri City Americans 4

A ten goal match-up got the day started as the Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Tri City Americans 6 – 4. The Halifax Mooseheads got two goals off the stick of Jeremy Estey, while Bill Mcclure, Andrew Curnow, Jordan Gunter and Pete Brodsky all added a goal each, while Christopher Jackson scored twice for the Tri City Americans, Jacob Amlong and Matthew Benson added a goal each.

Ball Hockey: Gatineau Olympiques 3 Vancouver Giants 9

Warren Miller scored a hat-trick to lead the Vancouver Giants to a 9 – 3 win over the Gatineau Olympiques. The Vancouver Giants also got single strikes off the sticks of Gosse Shannon, Stephen Chin, Aaron Cook, Kyle Chisholm, Cory Caouette and Chad Cundliffe. The Gatineau Olympiques got two goals from Christopher Merritt and a single strike from JM Tremblay.

Ball Hockey: Oshawa Generals 2 Sarnia Sting 5

The Sarnia Sting got two goals from Christopher Scott as they defeated the Oshawa Generals 4 – 2, Adam Mattatall, Scott Shannon and Felix Mill Plourde added a goal each, while Chris Allington and Nathan Kowalski scored a goal each for the Oshawa Generals.

Men’s Field Hockey: Variety Blue 5 Variety White 4

The Variety Blue got two Field Goals from Tyler Smith as they defeated the Variety White 5 – 4, Richard Minors, Xyaire Smith and Max Buglione all added field Goals for the Variety Blue. the Variety White’s got 2 field Goals off the stick of Dylan Pacheco, with Alex Miller and Donnie Simmons adding a goal each.

Women’s Field Hockey: Swallows 5 Canaries 1

The Swallows took a 1 – 0 lead in the 24th minute as Helen Clark scored a Field Goal, seven minutes lead the lead was doubled as Kelli Nusum scored a Field Goal. Liz Stewart made it 3 – 0 t the Swallows with a Field Goal in the 48th minute, but the Canaries pulled a goal back in the 59th minute when Abigail Maceachin scored from a Penalty Stroke. The Swallows would go ahead 4 – 1 when Jo Heaney scored a Field Goal and then Annefia Burke would make it 5 – 1 when she scored from a Penalty Corner.
