Garbage Collection Changes Due To Holiday
The Ministry of Public Works today advised that due to the Remembrance Day Public Holiday on Friday, November 11th, 2016, west end garbage will be collected on Thursday November 10th. East end garbage will be collected on Tuesday November 8th [today] and Wednesday November 9th.
Recyclables will be collected on Wednesday in the east and Thursday in the west.

East end collection. Tuesday and Wednesday? How much trash can someone build up overnight?
That is just crazy.
Unless it simply means that the garbage truck will stop collecting trash at some point on Tuesday afternoon in the east, leave some areas uncollected, and do those areas on Wednesday.
