Waste Collection Adjusts For Remembrance Day
The Ministry of Public Works is “reminding residents that due to the today’s Remembrance Day Holiday [November 13] household waste collection will follow a rollover schedule.
A Government spokesperson said, “This rollover means that household waste regularly collected on Monday will be collected tomorrow, Tuesday.
- “Tuesday’s trash will be collected on Wednesday.
- “Wednesday’s garbage will be collected on Thursday.
- “Thursday’s waste will be collected on Friday; and
- “Friday’s waste will be collected on Saturday.
“Tin, aluminium and glass recycling [TAG] will be unaffected by today’s holiday, with West End recycling collected on Thursday, 16 November, and East End recyclables collected on Friday, 17 November. Visit www.gov.bm/garbage-and-recycling for more waste management information.”
