Race Series To Honour Legendary Runners
Swan’s Running Club will be launching a new road running series, the Legends Race Series, which will consist of four races that celebrate some of Bermuda’s legendary runners such as the Ed Sherlock , Raymond Swan, Ludwig Cann, and Stanley Burgess.
“There will be a point system given to placement in each race. The male and female participant who has accrued the highest points in the best 3 out of four races, will be crowned Legends champion. There will also be prizes for overall winner in each age category,” the Club said.
“Swan’s Running Club is grateful to BGA who has come on as title sponsor for the Legends Race Series. We hope to keep the history alive about our road running legends and encourage road runners to take on the challenge to become the Legends Race Series champion.
“Swan’s Running Club membership is open to residents of Bermuda of all ages. We pride ourselves in meeting people’s needs at whatever activity level they are at. We provide training from a qualified coach and also provide support and mentoring. The Club also has Fitness Walkers.”
