RUBiS Challenge Deadline Extended To Dec 16
The deadline for submissions for the RUBiS Sustainable Energy Challenge has been extended to December 16th. With educational grants up for grabs, young Bermudians interested in providing innovative solutions to the challenges of Bermuda’s energy production and consumption, now have more time to submit their entries.
RUBiS Energy Bermuda Ltd. and the Government of Bermuda’s Department of Energy, have teamed up with the Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative to conduct the Sustainable Energy Challenge which calls for individual or teams of students from middle and senior schools or those home schooled less than 18 years of age, to conceive of an innovative solution to problems based on energy technologies.
Graham Redford, Managing Director of RUBiS Energy Bermuda Ltd, says: “RUBiS is excited to be able to partner with the Department of Energy and the Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative on the Sustainable Energy Challenge. As a global energy company with strong Bermuda ties, we recognise the issues that all countries face when trying to transition to a more sustainable infra-structure.”
