Ball Hockey: Mooseheads, Sting & Giants Win
The 2016/17 Bermuda Ball Hockey League Season resumed with a triple header at the PCC Hockey Rink with 30 goals scored.
Halifax Mooseheads 6 Oshawa Generals 2
The Halifax Mooseheads got 2 goals apiece from Jeffrey Ingelman and Jeremy Estey as they defeated the Oshawa Generals 6 – 2. Aso finding the back of the net for the Halifax Mooseheads were Ian Nash and Jeffrey Loper. Chris Allington and Joel Neal scored a goal each for the Oshawa Generals.
Sarnia Sting 7 Gatineau Olympiques 4
Eleven goals was scored in this the second contest of the day as the Sarnia Sting defeated the Gatinaeu Olympiques 7 – 4. The Sting got two goals from Scott Shannon and Ross Rufiange, while Christopher Scott, Jeff Morash and Matt Katzsch all added a goal each. The Gatineau Olympiques got single strikes from JM Tremblay, Jeremy Esty, Craig Rowat and Bill Calko.
Tri City Americans 2 Vancouver Giants 9
The biggest margin of victory came in the final game of the day as the Vancouver Giants defeated the Tri City Americans 9 – 2. Stephen Chin, Warren Miller and Cameron Poland all scored two goals each for the Vancouver Giants, while John Duda, Cory Caouette and Chad Cundliffe all added a goal each. Matthew Benson and Greg Van Der Made scored a goal each for the Tri City Americans.
