Bermuda’s Dale Eve Joins Ilkeston Football Club

Bermudian Dale Eve has joined the Ilkeston Football Club, and is set to join the squad for their home game against Corby Town tomorrow.

In making the announcement today, Ilkeston said, “21-year-old Bermudian Eve started playing football for his local Club Dandy Town, before moving to England to play for Derby County’s youth team.

“He spent a short time in the East Midlands before being spotted by scouts at Premier League club Stoke City who signed him to on a two-year development contract in June 2011 beating off competition from Manchester City.

“Eve made his international debut at the age of 16 making him Stoke City’s youngest player to be capped for his national team.

“After a short spell with Forest Green he has been back in Bermuda playing for his local Club Dandy Town.

“Dale, is looking forward to helping the Robins get back to winning ways as he joins the squad for the Home game against Corby Town KO 3pm tomorrow.”
