Opposition Leader & Shadow Ministers Tour BC
Opposition Leader David Burt, Shadow Minister of Education Lovitta Foggo and Shadow Minister of Environment & Training Diallo Rabain toured the Bermuda College‘s Business, IT and Technical Education areas on Monday.
A Bermuda College spokesperson said, “On Monday, February 20, Opposition Leader, the Hon. David Burt toured the Bermuda College business, IT and technical education areas with BC President, Dr. Duranda Greene.
“He was accompanied by Shadow Ministers, the Hon. Lovitta Foggo [Education] and Diallo Rabain [Environment & Training]. Dean of Business Administration, Hospitality and Technical Education, Dr. Trescot Wilson
“Specifically they visited the Computer Labs, SMART classrooms, the Nursing Sim Lab and Tech Hall, and also toured the Automotive Technology, HVAC and plumbing workshops.”

Getting ready to run thangs!
The image of Burt cluelessly overlooking the mock patient is akin to the PLP and our debt and deficit burdens. He ended up with a nice suit and a smile, while the taxpayer ended up in critical care.
Must be an election coming up. Where was the Opposition Leader during the “no confidence” vote by some of the faculty? Shouldn’t they have supported a bi-partisan approach to education and the trouble that exist at BC? PLP supports education, yet slashed the Education budgets under their reign.
