PLP To Host Founders Day Event On Sunday
The Progressive Labour Party will be hosting their 53rd Annual Founders’ Day & Drum Major Awards Luncheon this Sunday [Feb 26] at 2.00pm at the Bermuda College Cafeteria.
A PLP spokesperson said, “The Progressive Labour Party will hold our 53rd Founders’ Day and Drum Major Awards Luncheon on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at The Bermuda College Cafeteria beginning at 2:00pm.
“The speakers for this year’s event will be our Senate Leader, Senator Renee Ming, JP, who also serves as our Shadow Minister for Municipalities, and Mr. J. Audley H. Quallo, LL.B. [Hons], ACFE, ACAMS, a party member and youth activist.
“Regular tickets are priced at $50 with Patron tickets costing $100. They are available from Alaska Hall, PLP Party Headquarters between 10am and 1pm or People’s Pharmacy. The option to purchase regular or patron tables of 10 is also available.
“We invite members and the wider public to attend this luncheon where we will pay tribute to the founding members of the PLP and hear an address from Senator Ming with remarks from Mr. Quallo. We will also present the recipients of this year’s Drum Major Awards.”

I can’t believe anyone would pay 1 cent to listen to anything the plp has too say these days, let alone paying them $50 or $100? The plp should be spending their time finding away to pay us back the hundreds of $$MILLIONS that they lost of our money instead!!!
