Advisory: Road Works Set For March 18-20

The Ministry of Public Works is advising the public about upcoming road works that will take place from Saturday [March 18] to Monday [March 20].

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to advise the public of the following upcoming road works:

“On Saturday March 18th, to allow for resurfacing works, the inside lane of Crow Lane [East Broadway] will be closed off from the roundabout to just west of Spurling Hill with traffic being diverted to the outside lane. Depending on traffic flow, access to Spurling Hill for traffic coming into town may be restricted.

“On Sunday March 19th Trimingham Road will be closed to allow for the resurfacing of the Crow Lane Roundabout. Traffic management measures will be in place.

“On Sunday March 19th road resurfacing will be taking place by the Paget Traffic Lights. Traffic Management measures will be in place to help facilitate traffic flow.

“On Monday March 20th there will be a one lane closure on St. David’s Road, near Dolly’s Bay Road, to repair a sea wall. This will continue for the rest of the week until completed.

“On Saturday March 18th and Sunday March 19th there will be a one lane closure between 7:30am and 5:30pm along Marsh Folly Road from Blackwatch Pass to the junction with St. Monica’s Road to allow for rock face remedial work.”

    Thanks for the heads up! Are Watlington Water paying to have Harbour Road resurfaced after their many Saturdays of work leaving that entire section in an uneven, unsightly and dangerous condition, tax payers shouldn’t be paying for it
