The 2017 edition of the RO Smith Veterans Football match took place at the Somerset Cricket Club.
The Somerset Trojans picked up the win over the St. George’s Colts 5 – 1.
The Somerset Trojans got two goals apiece from Curtis Grant and Dwight Basden, while Duane Derosa got things started when he floated a ball that eluded the St. George’s Colts goalkeeper Troy Hall.
The St. George’s Colts lone goal came as a consolation when Carlos Greaves scored on a break away.
