Five Upcoming Events Offered By Masterworks
Masterworks is getting set to host five upcoming events, including Amanda Temple –”Tapestry of Tales”, A Year Times Two, Super Saturday, the Story of Masterworks, and Summer Camp.
Regarding the Amanda Temple “Tapestry of Tales”, a spokesperson said, “Join us Friday May 12th 5:30pm-7pm for the book launch of Amanda Temples “Tapestry of Tales”.
“Amanda visited 73 homes and photographed 125 people, her book shares their stories in her search for “Home”. This exhibit will run until May 17th.”
Regarding the A Year Times Two, a spokesperson said, “Opening Thursday May 18th 5:30pm-7pm in the Rick Faries Gallery is a joint exhibition featuring works by Chris Marson and Rhona Emmerson.
“This exhibit will feature watercolours and oils and will be on show until June 7th.”
Regarding the Super Saturday, a spokesperson said, “May 27th 10am-2pm Masterworks Museum will be hosting their monthly Super Saturday full of free art activities that are Sailing themed.
“Enjoy the museum and gallery environment while creating your own beautiful works of art. This event is for all ages!”
Regarding the Story of Masterworks, a spokesperson said, “May 29th joins us for a talk on how Masterworks Museum came to be and get an in depth look into our collection. Hosted by Tom Butterfield beginning at 5:30pm-6:30pm in our main gallery.
“Call or email now to reserve seats at 299-4000 or artmworks@logic.bm. Members are $10 and Non Members are $15, all proceeds from this talk go towards our educational programs.”
Regarding the Summer Camp, a spokesperson said, “Masterworks Museum Summer Art Camp begins July 3rd and runs until September 1st. Each week will be themed differently and provide a unique insight into our permanent collection. Immerse your little ones in a safe and creative environment that gives them access to our museum.
