Court: Man Denies Attempted Murder Charge

Appearing in Court today [June 1], a 22-year-old man denied charges of attempting to murder a woman and, without lawful excuse, handling a firearm.

Gavaska Lodge-Bascome was charged with offences alleged to have occurred on 1st May 2017 in Pembroke. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Lodge-Bascome must re-appear at the 3rd July Supreme Court Arraignments, and will remain in custody.
