Man Taken To KEMH After Falling Off Ladder
A man in his 60s was transported to hospital by ambulance after falling approximately 20’ off a ladder this afternoon.
Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Acting Lieutenant Russann Francis said, “At approximately 4:48pm this afternoon, Friday, June 16, 2017, our 911 Emergency Dispatch Center received a call reporting an industrial accident at Bostock Hill West in Paget.
“It was reported that a male in his sixties fell approximately 20’ off a ladder, struck his head and sustained an injury to his left hand. The Fire Service responded to the incident with two vehicles and four emergency medical technicians who quickly assessed the patient to ascertain his injuries.”
“The injured man was immediately transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further treatment.”
