Tennis Team Depart For Dominican Republic
The 12 & Under Tennis team selected by the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association arrived in the Dominican Republic early Saturday evening to participate in the 2017 ITF/COTECC 12 & Under Team Championships taking place at the National Tennis Center.
Tournament play begins today, Monday July 10th and finishes on Saturday July 15th. It is played with the Davis Cup/Fed Cup format of two singles matches and one doubles; which allows for the most matches possible during the 6 days of the tournament for the amount of countries participating. It is mandatory that each player plays in each tie, so it is up to the team Captain/Coach to decide which players play singles and doubles.

The top two finishing in each group will play in the playoff main draw.
In the girls division they are playing a round robin against Dominican Republic #1 and #2, Haiti, Puerto Rico and Bahamas.
