Southampton Rangers, Bailey’s Bay, Willow Cuts and St. George’s Cricket Club all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier and First Division cricket action.

Premier Division

Southampton Rangers Win by 43 Runs: Southampton Rangers 228 St. David’s 185

Southampton Rangers batted first at home and were bowled out for 228, Janeiro Tucker was the top scorer with 111, while Kevin Hurdle was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 8-0-45-3.

In reply, St. David’s Cricket Club were bowled out for 185, Chris Douglas was the top scorer with a knock of 56, while Vernon Eve had figures of 9.2-3-19-3 for Southampton Rangers.

Bailey’s Bay Win by 87 runs: Bailey’s Bay 196/8 Western Stars 109

Bailey’s Bay won the toss and elected to bat at the St. John’s Field, Malachi Jones scored 82 to lead them to a score of 196/8 in their 50 overs, Justin Robinson returned figures of 5-0-20-2.

In reply, Western Stars were bowled out for 109, Brian Hall was the top scorer with 58, Zeko Burgess was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 10-1-21-3.

First Division

Willow Cuts Win by 8 Wickets: PHC 81 Willow Cuts 82/2

Willow Cuts won the toss at the PHC Stadium and invited the host to bat, they were bowled out for 81, Kevin Lambe was the top scorer with 16, while Shaquille Jones led the Willow Cuts bowling attack with figures of 2-1-3-3.

In reply, Willow Cuts scored 82/2, Kwasi James was the top scorer with 32, while Charles Trott returned figures of 5-1-18-1 for PHC.

St. George’s Cricket Club Win by 224 Runs: St. George’s 307/5 Flatt’s Victoria 83

At Lord’s in St. David’s St. George’s Cricket Club all but clinched the First Division title with this 224 run victor over Flatt’s Victoria.

Batting first St. George’s Cricket Club scored 307/5 in their 50 overs with Onias Bascome the top scorer with 121, while Macai Simmons added 77, Dornelle Farrel was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 7-0-37-3.

In reply, Flatt’s Vicoria were bowled out for 83 in 20.2 overs, Regino Smith was the top scorer with 35, while Detroy Smith led the St. George’s Cricket Club bowling attack with figures of 10-1-41-4.
