Witness Appeal: Murder Of Jahkoby Smith
Police are appealing for witnesses to the murder of 21-year-old Jahkoby Smith, who was fatally stabbed at the West End Sailboat Club in Sandys, during a wake being held for the late Jachari Francis.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 7:15pm on Saturday 29th July, Jahkoby Smith was fatally stabbed after he was involved in an altercation which took place at the West End Sailboat Club, Sandy’s, during a wake being held for the late Jachari Francis.

“Police continue to appeal for witnesses to this incident. Anyone who may have information, particularly anyone who was at the West End Sailboat Club or in the general vicinity around the time of the incident or anyone knowing the movements of Jahkoby Smith prior to this incident, is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Dean Martin of the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the confidential Crime Stoppers Hotline on 800-8477.”
