KFC Donates Over $2,800 To BBBS Charity
Following a very successful third consecutive ‘Halloween Voucher’ Campaign, KFC raised $2,852 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda after selling treat voucher booklets at their Queen Street, Hamilton location.
KFC was excited to support one of Bermuda’s most noteworthy charities and delighted that they were able to handover a sizable cheque to help the Charity and its initiatives.
For only two dollars, packets of 5 vouchers were available from KFC to redeem for KFC product with retail value up to $12.25. Each voucher allows a child aged 12 or under to redeem it and receive either an apple turnover, one order of French fries or a chocolate chip cookie. All vouchers are valid until January 31st, 2018 at KFC’s Hamilton location.

Patrina O’Connor-Paynter, Managing Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda said, “When told we were selected to be the Charity of choice this year, we were delighted as we have always wanted to partner with KFC.
“To be awarded with a cheque for more than $2,800 on the day of our ‘Wacky Walk’, just topped off the overall excitement of the day. We are very grateful to KFC and look forward to partnering with them again in the future.
“On behalf of the Littles in our programme, we would like to say, ‘Thank You’ for your investment in mentoring”.

“Raynell Brangman raised $796 and Kelly Tweed raised $692. We know how challenging fundraising can be for local Charities, so being able to help their local programmes and initiatives with this contribution is rewarding”.
