Video: Dage Minors Wins Elite Front Street Mile
[Updated with video] Dage Minors thrilled the crowd this evening [Jan 12] when he won the Elite Men’s Race at the KPMG Front Street Mile, marking the first time a Bermudian has won the prestigious division.
Minors crossed the line in a time of 4:33 earning loud applause from the crowd, and in second place was Britain’s Jordan Donnelly in 4:34.16, while Girma Bekele Gebre of Eithipia rounded out the top three in a time of 4:36.93. Update: Minister of Social Development and Sports Zane DeSilva offered congratulations to Dage Minors for being the first Bermudian to win the Elite Men’s Race at the KPMG Front Street Mile, saying he “made all Bermudians very proud with his accomplishment.”
