Live Updates & Video: Front Street Mile Races
[Updating] The 2018 Bermuda Marathon Race Weekend is getting underway with the KPMG Front Street Mile this evening [Jan 12] in Hamilton.
The event generally attracts a large crowd, and if you are unable to make it, you can follow along with our live updates below, as barring any technical issues with the connection [hopefully not!], we will be providing live coverage of the races, with photo and video coverage planned, as well as race updates by Don Burgess.

The women’s record in this event is 4 minutes and 44 seconds set by Jamaica’s Kenia Sinclair, while Kenya’s Leonard Mucheru time of 4 minutes and 2 seconds is the men’s record.
The 30th KPMG Front Street Mile Awards will be presented immediately following each race in the following categories for both Males & Females: 1st through 3rd: Primary School, Middle School, Senior School, Open, Masters, Senior Masters and Elite.
The Race Weekend will continue with the 10K race on Saturday [Jan 13] starting at 9.00am at the National Sports Centre, while the Bermuda Half Marathon and Marathon will get underway at 8.00am on Sunday [Jan 14] on Front Street, and we will have coverage of all events throughout the weekend.
