Results: Bermuda Four Ball Championships
Despite the cool conditions and strong northerly winds, the scoring was very good in the 1st round of the Bermuda Four Ball Championships at Port Royal on Saturday.
The team of Jarryd Dillas and Will Haddrell who are no strangers to the winners circle carded a 4 under par 67 with the team of Damian Palanyandi and Fraser Hunt one shot behind with a 68. The defending champions, Richard Neame and Ben Hodge didn’t have the best start, but managed to recover and finish with an even par round of 71 so they are still in the mix.
In the Ladies Championship flight, the team of Tracy Burgess and Ann Symonds took a commanding lead with a score of 74 and their closest competition is Melinda Frith and Gladys Chambaz who are 7 shots behind.
In the Senior Men’s Championship flight Craig Christensen and Bill Pitt have taken a commanding 6 shot lead with a best ball score of 72 and their next competition is Dave Ramrattan and Alistair Smith with a 78.
