Women’s Resource Centre To Hold Tag Day
The Women’s Resource Centre is holding a ‘Fuelling for Cause’ Tag Day on January 20th at Rubis Service Stations island-wide with the support of RUBIS Energy Bermuda Ltd.
A Women’s Resource Centre spokesperson said, “With the support of RUBIS Energy Bermuda Ltd., The Women’s Resource Centre is holding a ‘Fuelling for Cause’ Tag Day, on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at Rubis Service Stations island-wide.
“The Women’s Resource Centre is currently going through a stage of re-birth. Our new focus will be, in collaboration with our community partners [many of who are with us here today], to provide a coordinated conglomerate of services that will effectively address the empowerment of women.
“The partnership will address areas of need such as gender equality and gender equity, women’s participation in the labor market, representation in positions of leadership, income differentials, domestic and sexual abuse, self esteem, group and individual counseling, public forums, etc.
“The photo includes community partners in support of the common goal to empower women and their families. Represented are SCARS, The Centre Against Abuse, ADR Services, UnderKonstruction, WOMB, Ultimate Imaging, The Women’s Action Group, Child & Family Services and WRC.
“Please show your support by visiting any participating RUBIS Service Station between 8:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday, and make a donation to one of our volunteer taggers!
