426 Points Scored In Basketball Triple Header
A triple header produced a total of 426 points as the Bermuda Basketball Association’s Winter League sponsored by One continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
Game 1 saw the Southampton Thundercats defeat the Smith’s Court Kings 87 – 79. Chris Crumpler led the Southampton Thundercats with a game high 37 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals, while Jericho Tucker scored 31 points for the Smith’s Court Kings, he also added 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.
Game 2 saw the Hamilton Parish Rockets defeat the Pembroke Skyforce 71 – 50. The Hamilton Parish Rockets got a game high 26 points from Kameron James, he also had 3 rebounds and 5 steals, while Christian Liyanage scored 19 points for the Pembroke Skyforce to go along with 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.
Game 3 saw the Devonshire Chargers defeat the Warwick Rimrockers 71 – 68. Kevin Stephens would score 27 points, he had 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals for the Devonshire Chargers, while the Warwick Rimrockers got a game high 32 points from Chris Horwood, he also had 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals.
