Asphalting On Front St To Continue Tomorrow
The City of Hamilton advised that asphalting of the westbound driving lane on Front Street, between Parliament Street and Burnaby Hill, will continue tomorrow morning [Feb 21] and is expected to be completed by Thursday afternoon [Feb 22].
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton advises the public that asphalting of the westbound driving lane on Front Street, between Parliament Street and Burnaby Hill, will continue tomorrow morning and is expected to be completed by Thursday afternoon.
“The westbound driving lane will be closed and diversion signs will be in place at Court Street and Parliament Street. On both days the work will be completed before afternoon rush hour. Eastbound traffic on Front Street will not be disrupted but motorists are advised to proceed with extreme caution while the work is carried out.
“On-street parking on Front Street between Burnaby and Parliament Streets will be restricted tomorrow and Thursday; this includes No. 5 car park as there will be no access due to the road closure.
“The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused during this time and thanks the public for their continued patience while these important upgrades to the MS Amlin World Triathlon race course are carried out.”
