PLP To Host Founders Day, Drum Major Awards
The PLP will be hosting their annual Founders’ Day and Drum Major Awards Luncheon on Sunday [Feb 18] at Willow Bank Conference Centre, with MP Chris Famous to serve as the speaker for this year’s event.
“The Progressive Labour Party invites members, party supporters and the public to attend our 54th Annual Founders’ Day and Drum Major Awards Luncheon on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Willow Bank Conference Centre beginning at 2:00 pm,” a spokesperson said.
“The speaker for this year’s event will be Member of Parliament for Constituency 11 Thomas Christopher Famous.
“Regular tickets are $50 with Patron tickets at $100. Tickets are available from Alaska Hall, PLP Party Headquarters between 10 am and 2 pm. The option to purchase regular or patron tables is also available.
“We invite members and the wider public to attend this luncheon where we will pay tribute to the founding members, present the recipients of this year’s Drum Major Awards and hear an address from MP Thomas Christopher Famous.”
