Rugby: Denton Hurdle Memorial Day Results
The National Sports Center hosted the Denton Hurdle Memorial matches.
The day sees Tugby players from Teachers attending a Church Service at Bright Temple AME, before taking on teams made up of players from the other three clubs, Mariners, Renegades and Police.
In the Opening Game, the Teachers 2nd Ladies team defeated The Rest 2nd Ladies team 3 – 2. That game was followed by the Ladies 1st team match that also saw the Teachers come out victorious 3 – 0.
In the Men’s 2nd Team game, the Rest defeated the Teachers 17 – 15, and in the Men’s 1st team game the Teachers defeated The Rest 55 – 26.
