BECL Facility Closed Due To Storm Damage

The Bermuda Emissions Control Ltd [BECL] Southside Testing Facility has suffered damage as a result of the ongoing storm, leaving it unable to operate until repairs have been completed.

A government spokesperson said, “The Transport Control Department has advised that the Bermuda Emissions Control Ltd Southside Testing Facility has suffered storm damage and is therefore unable to operate until repairs have been completed.

“It is unknown at this time when it will be safe to reopen the east end facility.”
