Minister Simmons’ Trip To NY Cost $1,274.46
A trip in February 2018 by Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Jamahl Simmons to New York to support the Bermuda Tourism Authority’s “New York Market Blitz” cost $1,274.46, according to a recent listing on the Government’s travel webpage.
The trip duration was listed as from February 20, 2018 – February 23, 2018, and the web page listing said, “The Minister of Economic Development and Tourism travelled to New York from 20th to 23rd February, 2018 to support the Bermuda Tourism Authority’s ‘New York Market Blitz, where he and BTA executives met with Media, Travel Trade Professionals and Meeting and Event Planners for the purpose of promoting and selling Bermuda as a top destination for business and tourism.”
