Photos: Phoenix Stores Kite Making Workshops
The Phoenix Stores hosted their annual kite making workshops this weekend at two locations including The Annex Toys on Saturday and Collector’s Hill Apothecary today [March 25].
U.S. Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig was amongst those that came out for the helpful instruction of Justin Simmons who guided them through the kite making process. Families and visitors took advantage of the free kite making workshops and walked away with a traditional Bermuda kite in-hand. Supplies including sticks, tissue paper, string and glue were available for purchase.
A spokesperson previously said, “Each year both The Annex Toys and Collector’s Hill Apothecary transform and extend their retail spaces to the community with every aim to keep the tradition of Bermuda kite making alive.”
Hats off to PSL for keeping the Bermuda tradition alive!!!
