Phoenix To Host Free Kite Making Workshops
The Phoenix Stores will host their annual kite making workshops at two locations this month, including The Annex Toys and Collector’s Hill Apothecary.
The events will take place today [March 10] and March 24 at The Annex Toys and on March 25 at Collectors Hill Apothecary from 12.00pm to 2.00pm.
A spokesperson said, “Each year both The Annex Toys and Collector’s Hill Apothecary transform and extend their retail spaces to the community with every aim to keep the tradition of Bermuda kite making alive.
“This year’s events are slated to take place from 12.00pm to 2.00pm on Saturday, March 10 and March 24 at The Annex Toys located on the first floor of The Phoenix Centre in Hamilton; and on Sunday, March 25, at Collectors Hill Apothecary in Smith’s Parish.
“Those families or visitors looking to take advantage of the free kite making workshops and walk away with a traditional Bermuda kite in-hand can choose to bring their own sticks, tissue paper, string and glue or purchase them on-site. All are welcome to attend, though space is limited.
“For more details regarding the free kite making workshops, contact The Annex Toys at 279-5450.”
