Softball Season To Get Underway On Monday
The softball season is set to get underway Monday night with the most number of teams since 2010.
Softball Bermuda has 26 teams in five divisions, an increase of six clubs from the 2017 season.
PHC Zebras plays Outback Skylights at 9 pm on Monday at Michael Preece Stadium at Bernard Park on the opening day of the Softball Bermuda season
There are eight new teams as two did not return from last year. The new clubs include Hakuna Matata Charters, Sunglass Shop, Platano Power, X-Bats, Buffaloes, Athene Warriors, Sea Venture Mini Me’s, and Butterfield & Vallis Sliders.
FIU Scared Hitless takes on the X-Bats in the season opener on Monday. Two Women Division games follow that with Angels versus Hardknockz at 7:30 pm and PHC Zebras battle Outback Skylights at 9 pm.
Games will be played Mondays through Thursdays with tripleheaders every night.
