Harbour Nights Traffic Diversions & Restrictions

The police are reminding the motoring public that there will be traffic diversions and parking restrictions for the weekly Harbour Nights in the City of Hamilton, which started on April 26th and ends on August 29th.

A police spokesperson said, “The motoring public is reminded that the typical traffic diversions and parking restrictions remain in effect for this year’s weekly Harbour Nights in the City of Hamilton, which started on Thursday, April 26th and ends on Wednesday, August 29th.

“The usual Wednesday evening traffic diversions [closed to vehicular traffic from 6:15pm until 11pm] include a section of Front Street between Court Street and Queen Street as well as a section of Burnaby Street between Reid Street and Front Street – while the usual Wednesday evening restricted parking areas [no parking from 4pm until 11pm] are on Front Street between Court Street and Queen Street as well as Burnaby Street between Reid Street and Front Street.

“The continued cooperation of motorists regarding these weekly temporary traffic diversions and temporary parking restrictions is greatly appreciated.”
