‘Italy Inspired’ Art Exhibition Cocktail & Reception
The ‘Italy Inspired’ art exhibition cocktail and reception’ is set to be held on June 1, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Adult Education School.
The event will be held at Milan Milan at 3 Front Street on Friday, June 1 from 5.30pm to 8.00pm. All of the artwork for sale will be in support of opportunity scholarships.
A spokesperson said, “Works will include oils by Christopher Grimes; watercolours by Michele Smith and Michael Cacy; oil pastels by April Branco; encaustics by Sharon Wilson; carbon by Peter Lapsley; mosaics by Nikki Murray-Mason, Kendra Earls, and Donna Smith; photography by Nicky Gurret; fiber arts by Geralyn Counsell; cut paperwork by Andrea Sundt; jewelry by Rebecca Little, Mary Tatem, and Jon Faulkner; mixed media by Kok Wan Lee; and silk screen printing by Ami Zanders.
“The show continues over the weekend with takedown day being Monday after 1 PM. The art will be sold on a first-come first served basis and may be removed on the evening of the opening. There will be food tastings, hors d’oeuvres and wine served and all artists will be in attendance.”
