Photos & Video: National Day Of Peace Event
[Updated with photos] The National Day of Peace is being held this evening [May 9] at the National Sports Centre, with the event scheduled to include inspirational musical and dance performances, speeches and more.
“The aim of the event is to bring the community together to remember those who have been lost through tragic circumstances, and to engage in supportive and healing activities,” the Ministry of National Security previously said. Organisers of the event include the Ministry of National Security, Pastor Leroy Bean, Bishop Nicholas Dill, Bishop Vernon Lambe, Bishop Lynn Landy, Apostle Jimmie Denwiddle, Pastor Kimmie Mello and Pastor Gladwin Thompson.

I cannot help but think how much of a farce this is. It reminds me of when Craig Cannonaire was the Premier and held a similar event at City Hall, and the next day the OBA announced that they will bring the HR bill(2 words and a comma).These same pastors have been silent ever since! Now we have Wayne Caines and Pastor cough cough Leroy Bean who is known within the PLP by other, more realistic descriptions, fooling the people again! I cant blame them though, I blame the people.
Bishop elect Leroy Bean?? Will someone explain how this works? Does he have a congregation?
