‘The Road To Democracy: Trust Talk’ On May 31
Chubb and the Bermuda National Trust are inviting the public to attend ‘The Road to Democracy: Trust Talk,’ set to be held on Thursday [May 31] at 6.00pm.
A spokesperson said, “Please join us for a live panel discussion this Thursday at Chubb. Wine and cheese will be served. This event is free to attend but donations are welcome.
“May 22 was the 50th anniversary of the first General Election held under Universal Adult Suffrage in Bermuda. We will be discussing this monumental event that touched the lives of all Bermudians during a live discussion panel featuring John Barritt, Meredith Ebbin and Arthur Hodgson. The evening will be moderated by Bill Zuill, Executive Director of the Bermuda National Trust.”
“Guests will also have opportunity to explore the Road to Democracy exhibition, which is open to the public until June 1, 2018. Discover the journey that led to One Person, One Vote and the beginning of Constitutional Government in 1968.
“Wine and cheese will be served at the event, which will be held at the Gallery Chubb building, 17 Woodbourne Avenue, Hamilton, Bermuda.
“The Gallery is open to the public on weekdays from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Please call 295-5200 for group arrangements.”
