11&U & 15&U All Star Cricket Teams Announced
The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the players selected for the Hiscox 11&U and the Bank of Bermuda Foundation 15&U East v West All Star Games which will take place this Saturday [June 23] at the National Sports Centre, North Field.
The Hiscox U11s will start at 9.00am, while the Bank of Bermuda U15s will get underway at 12.30pm.
President of the BCB Mr. Lloyd Smith stated, “I would like the congratulate the players selected to take part in the All Star games this year. The All Star games showcase some of Bermuda’s best young players.
“I would like to thank all the parents and coaches who have volunteered their time ensuring the success of both leagues and the BCUA Umpire’s who are volunteering their services during the day. I would also like to thank Barritts for once again providing the water and Powerade for all our youth cricket events this season.”
“Hiscox continues to be a major supporter of youth cricket and we truly appreciate their support of Bermuda’s young players and our great sport. The Hiscox 11&Under league once again had over 200 players competing.”
Mr. Smith concluded, “The Bank of Bermuda Foundation 15&Under League has once again been a huge success this year with competitive games taking place each weekend. I would like to thank the Bank of Bermuda Foundation who continue to support this League.
“This league features an important age-group, providing the opportunity for Bermuda’s youngsters to enjoy cricket in a disciplined environment contributing to their personal development.”
