AIMA Head Of Americas To Speak In Bermuda

Michelle Noyes, Managing Director, Head of Americas for the Alternative Investment Management Association [AIMA] will arrive in Bermuda this week to attend meetings with public and asset management industry sector leaders and member firms.

On Thursday, Apex Fund Services will sponsor a networking event at the Bermuda National Gallery to allow members and asset management industry stakeholders the opportunity to meet Mrs Noyes, hear updates on global industry hot topics, and to give members an opportunity to network and share insights on the benefits of an expanded alternative assets industry in Bermuda.

Chairperson of AIMA Bermuda’s Executive Committee, Craig Bridgewater noted, “AIMA’s Bermuda network continues to grow, now with seventeen local firms as members of AIMA. We are delighted to host Michelle Noyes this week and we are confident that Bermuda has a great story to tell in areas of current and future alternative investment growth, and in the cooperation shown between government and private industry”.

Mrs Noyes commented, “With AIMA’s member organisations managing assets of more than $2 trillion, we are unparalleled in our advocacy of the alternative investment industry globally. We are excited to have started the AIMA Network in Bermuda two years ago, and are looking forward to building on the strengths Bermuda displays and the accomplishments of the Bermuda network”.

AIMA Bermuda welcomes members from accounting, legal and banking sectors, fund management and administration, and the ILS industry. Through its global industry initiatives including advocacy, policy and regulatory engagement, educational programmes and sound practice guides, AIMA works to raise media and public awareness of the value of the industry.
