Train Gets Temporarily ‘Stuck’ On Brighton Hill
Traffic was being temporarily diverted late this morning [August 10] on Brighton Hill in Devonshire due to the rather unusual situation of the train being ‘stuck’ on the hill and blocking traffic. Police were on scene directing traffic, and the train moved at around 11.30am, allowing traffic to return to normal.
And while we’re on the topic , can the owners of that nuisance instruct the drivers to pull over every mile or so to let the huge backlogs of traffic stuck behind it and forced to travel at 15mph to pass ?
Yeah , I know , it’s just common sense / courtesy .
A better use of the train would be to sink it. Make it a diving wreck.
With all the diesel fumes, I can’t imagine anyone actually enjoying a ride on it!
What?!? Why was this thing on de road? Isn’t that what de Rail Way Trail is for? Shakin mah head.
Looks like he was trying to pull the hill and it rolled back from lack of power.
This badly maintained and badly driven wreck is an unsafe eyesore and should be taken off the road in favor of those of us who pay a LOT of money to be on the road
Irony.
This won’t be Bermuda’s last train wreck…
Looks like “The Little Engine That Couldn’t!!
