U14 Team Win Final Game 11-0 To Win Group
The Bermuda Under 14 Football Team won their group at the Caribbean Football Union Boys’ U14 Challenge Series, after winning three consecutive matches, including an 11 – 0 hammering of the U.S. Virgin Islands in their final match.
They took on the US Virgin Islands last night and Bermuda’s starting line up included Toran Place, Zakao Hart, Mason Robinson, Eijaz Shakir [c], Stefan Jones, Deniche Hill, Aquiyei Richardson, Riley Robinson, La Zai Outerbridge, Benjamin Osset and Ahtaio Burgess
Bermuda would get on the score sheet as early as the fourth minute when Benjamin Osset scored the first of his three goals. Osset would score the teams second before Ahtaio Burgess made it 3-0 with a long range effort.
First half substitute Sincere Hall would then score with his first touch of the game, before goalkeeper Toran Place rounded out the first half scoring with a goal from the penalty spot.
In the second half Osset would secure his third goal of the game to complete his hat-trick, which was followed by Burgess scoring his second.
Second half substitutes Sekai Tatem and Camaje Easton-Smith both scored after impressive build ups. Hall would complete his hat-trick in injury time with a spectacular long range effort.
The team had already defeated Cuba 2 – 1 and defeated Cayman 4 – 0, meaning throughout this tournament, the team scored a total of 17 goals and conceded only one.
