Champion Of Champions Cancelled This Year
This year’s Champion of Champions cricket competition has been cancelled, however organisers have “committed to earnestly starting the planning for next year’s competition.”
A spokesperson said, “Due to a number of factors and circumstances, the Combined Counties have reluctantly decided to forego this year’s Champion of Champions competition.
“In doing so, we are committed to earnestly starting the planning for next year’s competition to ensure that all three Counties can showcase their respective talents to all of our cricket fans.”
I’m guessing the pushing back of the other events and football season having started, meant this had to get cancelled?
