Minister Roban’s Trip To Washington Cost $2,227
A trip earlier this month by Minister of Transport and Regulatory Affairs Walter Roban to Washington DC to attend several meetings cost $2,227.69, according to a recent listing on the Government’s travel webpage.
The trip duration was listed as from September 13 to 17, and the web page listing said, “The Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport and Regulatory Affairs, Walter Roban, accompanied the Premier, David Burt to attend several high level meetings with a focus on energy, finance, economics and air service development.
“The Premier and Deputy Premier met with Rep. Gregory Meeks, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Karen Bass, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, and Rep. Gwen Moore, ranking member of the Financial Services Subcommittee on Monetary Policy & Trade.
“Minister Roban also met with Abby Hopper, CEO, Solar Energy Industry Association to discuss how governments have incorporated to use of solar energy and technology into their energy portfolio.
“While in Washington DC, Minister Roban attend the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s [CBCF] Annual Prayer Breakfast.”
