Ryan Parris Scores In Acadia Axemen Victory
Bermuda’s Ryan Parris scored for his Acadia University soccer team as they defeated Memorial University Seahawks by a score of 5 – 0, with Parris also named the Player of the Game, the second time this month he has earned the honour.
The school’s match report said, “The Acadia Axemen win by five as they blank the Memorial University Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.
“The Axemen found their rhythm early, firing plenty of shots before one of midfielder Ryan Parris [Pembroke, Bermuda] beat the netminder for his second of the season. Parris’ goal would be the game winner and earned him the Subway Player of the Game award.”
Parris, a midfielder, is currently on an Athletic Scholarship awarded by the University.
