25 Students Graduate From Horticulture Training
Yesterday, 25 students from the Department of Parks Horticulture Training Programme received their national certification in horticulture, marking the first group to receive national accreditation in horticulture in Bermuda.

Graduates were commended by Minister of Public Works Lt/Col David Burch and Minister of Education & Workforce Development Diallo Rabain who provided remarks at the ceremony.
Minister Burch said, “One of the more pleasant tasks of this job is being able to participate in ceremonies such as this that congratulate and honour people who have done good work.”

Minister Rabain also provided comments saying, “The Department of Workforce Development is committed to ensuring that anyone who wants to pursue a career in this field has access to proper training and resources.
“I encourage those who have an interest in horticultural careers to visit the Department to learn more about opportunities, training and certification.”
