Official Notices Start Tomorrow On Govt Website
The Ministry for the Cabinet Office with Responsibility for Government Reform is reminding that effective tomorrow [Nov 1] the Official Gazette will be located at www.gov.bm.
“This means that all Government Notices, Bermuda Regulations, and Government Legal Notices will be found on the government website,” the Ministry said.
“The Ministry reminded that some government notices may continue to be published in other media entities to ensure the widest possible distribution of the content.”

The Minister for the Cabinet Office with Responsibility for Government Reform Lovitta Foggo has previously said, “The Government recognizes the need to embrace a rapidly changing technological landscape.
“We are committed to adapting our service delivery to meet the needs of our modern society. The new online Official Gazette allows the Government to fulfill its responsibilities efficiently and effectively; and is part of a longer term reform strategy that will see the public benefit from more comprehensive, secure and accessible digital Government services.”
This new system will also allow for Bernews to reprint the official notices, similar to how we currently republish items from the Government website such as the bus cancellations and Minister travel costs.

Here’s a thought: why not create a new item on http://www.gov.bm in the leaf menu (your CSS code class name, not mine) and call it “Government Notices” so that it’s easy to find. Perhaps give people the ability to subscribe via email or text message.
